If you can just go watch this movie
This movie managed to highlight the importance of the story with hard to swallow moments and truth bombs and still keep its light hearted humor throughout the movie making it extremely easy to digest complicated problems that the movie is written around. There was also a good balance of good and bad characters on both the right and wrong sides so the movie didnt feel like it was biased at all. The atmosphere was also so easy to be absorbed in that it didnt feel off when certain slurs were used it truly felt like the time period. Although its not a good idea to get your opinions from one source , as non americans this is a great place to start understanding discrimination issues for race, sexuality and gender

Entertaining throughout.
The nature of the topic of this film is heavy. The comedic relief makes this movie approachable. The sheer ridiculousness of the situations makes for some wonderfully comic moments. Not to mention an excellent soundtrack.

Educational and entertaining
This movie really sheds a light on the deep seated racial problems going on in the US. It’s a serious topic but the comedic elements in the film helped to balance out the tension. The cast was superb and so is the soundtrack. The end scene will leave you with a lot to think about with regards to racism and humanity in general.

An interesting story, well-told.
The final real life images are devastating. The screenplay is engaging with tension. I learnt a lot about discrimination and humanity.
