unexpected scenes!
all i can say is, ignore all of the rating that others have said. just go watch it and see it for yourself. the ratings are super conflicting & its really up to you to decide whether its a good movie or not. to me, i went in without expectations (unlike infinity war, my bar was set very high), and turns out, its actually a decently good movie! hilarious scenes & very interesting plot twist! dont forget to stay for the 2 end credit scenes :)
Good storyline very close to the comics, origin stories of not only Cap Marv but also Fury, one of the stones, and a certain movie coming up next. Absolutely loved the soundtrack.. read other critics and reviews but go watch it yourselves. It’s a feel good movie.
Like Superman is for DC, Captain Marvel is a beacon of hope for Marvel. The MCU has done such an incredible job adding in some female superhero side characters, but they were in desperate need of a strong female character that could hold her own and do the job equally as good, if not better than her male counterpart. If you liked Wonder Woman, you’d like this as much or perhaps even more. P.S. Must watch if you’re a cat lover
Brie did an amazing job portraying such a powerful and human character. The action was amazing the humor was on point and the friendship between Carol and Maria was so touching and sweet. Plot had interesting themes and never dragged. Absolutely a must watch movie.
Action packed, likable characters and just the right amount of humour. Cant wait for more of Captain Marvel in Endgame. P.S Stay for the End credit scenes. Especially the first one.
Ok let’s all be honest. We did not enter the theatre with high expectations. Well, I didn’t — after watching the trailer and seeing that it’s only gonn be 2 hours. But holy shit, this movie blew me away! Definitely the strongest superhero in the marvel universe right now!!! I feel that the movie was very well thought through, the Writers paced the movie perfectly, it had humour, plot twists, a fantastic cast and a deep and meaningful meaning behind what it means being a hero. I’m beyond stoked to watch how End Game is gonna play out now!
I was skeptical as I have heard this movie wasn't as good. However, being a marvel fan I went to see for myself and i liked it. Maybe it can be abit lengthy and boring for some but I enjoyed it. I feel it has amazing visuals and has one of the best storylines in the marvel universe.
If anyone to pull off a good female heroine with a decent storyline has to be MCU.. Even though the action moves are lacking as in not as ‘shiok’ is cause she is the most powerful one.. But what makes Captain Marvel stands out is cause of her story. Who she really is, her background makes her the most powerful yet most vulnerable because she is human in every aspect. Love all the cat scenes!!
Effect is quite good. Comedy part is good too. The make up for the Greenman, are too stiff. Other than that, a bit out of expectation, everything is okay.
