Good show to know about space
Overall: 5
If you don't know the basics about the moon etc.. This is a good show that shows you the background of how Neil Armstrong was as a family man and as the first man on the moon. Also good to know about Buzz Aldrin.

A must watch for Apollo fans

A perfect movie I about the quiet side of Armstrong and his struggle with the lost of his daughter. A non USA propaganda film finally.

A technical perfection

The IMAX experience feels so real, so raw, and make me feel like I’m a part of the film. I would pay money just to watch the space exploration scenes alone in IMAX again, it’s that astounding. Damien Chazelle has crafted a visual and auditory masterpiece that will be remembered for years to come.

The performances were really nuanced. It manages to capture the awe that landing on the moon should. Striking visuals and compelling near-silence.

A look at the background behind the accomplishment
Overall: 4
A great sacrifice by many people to put man on the moon. They accomplished the feat when computers were the size of a room. A realistic portrayal of the life of Armstrong.

Love it or hate it
Overall: 4
This movie is a biography and so it reflects the life of Neil Armstrong. Those who are interested in the biographical movies or space related films will love this, while those who are just wanting to watch Ryan Gosling in action will sleep through. I personally love this film, not just showing his life story and the different difficulties on landing on the moon. Totally worth the money for me. Simply an eye-opener and provides lots of insight to what really happen. Though they had to rush through the details, I feel that it’s a movie long enough to be a success.

A unique film
Overall: 4
Not a blockbuster movie that able to entertain most of the audience, more to describe Armstrong personal background and feeling. Experience 1st person view inside space cockpit.

Pretty good

Story: 3 | Acting: 4 | Visual: 3 | Music: 3 | Overall: 4

This historical-biographical drama is a good movie all around, from the plot to the casting. The two leads were particularly good. I still prefer Chazelle’s La La Land to this, perhaps because as a drama this movie is not as exciting or alluring. Still worth a watch though.
