Synopsis

10-year-old Lakshmi loves dancing but her mother Nandini detests it. Lakshmi becomes a regular at a cafeteria adjacent to her school because she likes the music played there, thus forming a bond with the people there including a man named Krishna. Wanting to fulfil her dream of winning the `Pride of India Jr.` title in the National level dance competition, Lakshmi joins the Chennai Dance Academy without her mother`s knowledge. When she fails to impress on the day of the selection for the competition, Krishna steps up and asks for another chance for her. The selections chief immediately recognises him and makes him an offer, Lakshmi can join only if Krishna agrees to be the team`s coach.
