Synopsis

Royston Tan`s trilogy of documentary movies that document different aspects of Singapore`s heritage ends with the final instalment, "Old Friends". This time the theme revolves around food. The documentary showcases the strong connections between Singaporeans and the local delights that they purchase from homegrown hawker stalls and eateries.

Singapore memories

Overall: 4

Short film has a tinge of nostalgia and is bound to bring out the “feels”. A lot traditional Chinese pastries, dishes, local eateries making me hungry again. I also wanted to try the rich, authentic flavours of traditional Singaporean cuisine too.
