An elementary school in a village in Niigata Prefecture in central Japan, implements a hands-on learning program to raise a cow. One day, when 9-year-old Tomomi, who had been pouring all of her energy into taking care of the cow must say goodbye to the animal, she decides that her dream is to become a vet. Even as she grows older, her feelings remain unchanged and Tomomi continues to study hard. Yoshiaki Tokita, first interviewed and encountered Tomomi when he was a television director.
