An autobiographical film of an autobiographical writer Lee Israel with the same name, is also one of the nomination for the best films in the 91st Oscar. Lee Israel, a eccentric female writer who is eccentric and doesn't like social activities, used to forge the celebrity's letters and sold them to earn living expenses because of bad luck. However, it happened been discovered later. . . In fact, this fraudulent case of not more than 40,000 US dollars is not a sensation in the same year, because most of the letters that Lee Israel imitated were written by the writers or actors in the American theater industry in the last century, and ithey are also not well-known in the world. Melissa McCarthy, the heroine, puts away her exaggerated comedy cell and plays a lonely middle-aged mature woman. It is rare that almost the whole film is focused on her acting. Of course, the audience can't ignore the contribution of her old partner Richard E. Grant. . The street scene and atmosphere of New York in the 1990s, combined with the pleasing of jazz music, is very flavorful. Of course, this kind of autobiographical film that is slow and "flat" and has no tide has always might not been the cup of tea in everyone's heart. Before entering the cinema, please think twice about your taste! *
