Synopsis

Having been in war against Spain for many years, Cuba received assistance from America in 1898 following the explosion of the battleship Maine, and later defeated the former. While Spain was exiting Cuba, the Americans start to take over the country, acting like an occupying army. In the middle of this are two young children Simon and Samuel, who are thrown into the most intense period of their lives.
