It is France, during the 18th century. The prestige of any noble family is determined by the quality of food they feast on for every meal. During this dawn of the French Revolution, gastronomy is one of the most important things in an aristocrat`s life. When talented chef Manceron is dismissed by the Duke of Chamfort, he loses his love for the craft. Back in his country house, his meeting with the mysterious Louise gets him back on his feet and ready to cook up a storm. While they both feed their desires for revenge against the Duke, they decide to start the very first restaurant in France.
