Synopsis

In the year 1943, the brilliant jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt is at the peak of his art in German-occupied Paris. While his fellow gypsies are being persecuted throughout Europe, his life takes a turn for the worse when the Nazi propaganda machine wants to send him on tour to Berlin. Reda Kateb (Zero Dark Thirty) dazzles us in this little known part of History and of the life of a musician who influenced several generations of artists.
