Set around a family gathering to celebrate Easter Sunday, the comedy is based on Jo Koy`s life experiences and stand-up comedy, with many actors of Filipino descent playing his colourful family members and relatives. Jo Koy is a Filipino-American comedian and his mother hails from the Philippines, so expect lots of Filipino culture and laughs as the comedy puts a spotlight on a Filipino family living in America. Tia Carrere will play Tita Theresa, an aunt of Koy`s character, while Eugene Cordero plays his cousin. Koy`s mother will be played by veteran actress Lydia Gaston, with Rodney To portraying his Tito Arthur.
