Synopsis

In 2001, serial rapist Zhang Haomin raped dozens of girls in ten years. The judge determined that he was very likely to commit the crime again in the future and sentenced him to life imprisonment! Zhang Haomin appealed. Clinical psychologist Ah Yan took over the case. During the assessment, Yan asked him why he kept committing crimes. He said blankly, "No one stopped him. They didn`t call the police." In the end, Zhang Haomin was sentenced to 24 years in prison and was released in 2017. It took the criminal ten years to be arrested because the victims were afraid to face the case. The movie encourages victims to face it bravely in order to stop the spread of crime and help themselves get rid of the shadow that affects their lives.
