Synopsis

16-year-old Sarya and her family are Kurdish refugees in Japan. At first, Sarya`s life is going well as she gets along with friends and a romance lies on the horizon. However, when Sarya`s father gets his application for refugee status declined by Japan`s government, Sarya`s existence goes sideways.
