Taxi 5 is a mediocre attempt of heroic cars chasing comedy slash action with no substantial storyline.

Ever since the hit original breakout film, the rest that follows are getting formulaic or mediocre. Running out of ideas.

"Taxi” series is back. This time the story is about a Paris police officer, Sylvain was too radical in his mission and was transferred to the Marseille Community Police. On the first day of his appointment, he met the Italian super-running gang to rob the jewels. The robbers drove the Ferrari and drove the Sylvain and the "skilled" teammates to the point. Just as Sylvain couldn't help, he met a savage taxi driver Eddy, who had no tacit understanding with Sylvain at all, but both of them have to cooperate to catch the suspects. A cat and mouse game with a lot of situations and laughter was launched. . . This Made in France's Taxi series launched its first episode in 1998, when it was praised with a passionate and fast-paced rhythm and a French-style joke without any cold spots. However, the other three sequels introduced in the following seven years were pleasing. It is getting worse. After eleven years, the fifth episode was re-launched. Although the script was still from the famous French writer and director Luc Besson, but the whole old group of actors/actress such as Sammy Naceri and Frederic Diefenthal were completely kicked out and directed by the seemingly unknown Frank Gastambide with Self-acting as well. The whole story is inferior, the car show is flat and uncreative, and there is no passion. The funny drama is vulgar and boring. It is the movie that the audience should avoided this week!
