This is a film based on real events. Flannan Island is a small archipelago off the coast of Scotland, located on a major local route with a lighthouse. On a certain day in December 1900, after a storm, a passing ship at night found that the light of the lighthouse was not lit. The next day, someone went to the island to inquire, but failed to find the traces of the three lighthouse keepers. Their mysterious disappearance became the unsolved fan. Lonely, greedy, and paranoid all came into being, and the three began to kill each other. . . The rhythm of the movie is a bit slow and the atmosphere is a bit boring. Gerard Butler, who specializes in saving the president, was swayed by action dramas. But the guards seemed to be a little incompetent, his edge was overshadowed by the performance of two other lighthouse keepers , Peter Mullan and Connor Swindells. The most breathtaking thing in the whole film is the moment when the foreign enemies go to the door to find the gold, especially the gold-finder Soren Malling.
