Synopsis

Aflet has been waiting for years for her son, Younes, to return from the front lines of the Iran-Iraq War. One day, she receives a letter from Younes. He tells her that he is alive and well and will soon be coming home. However, when Younes finally returns, he is not the same person that Aflet remembers. He is withdrawn and traumatised, and he struggles to adjust to civilian life. Aflet is determined to help her son heal, but she soon realises that it will not be easy.
