Synopsis

Josef Tkaloun is a middle-aged high school teacher who cannot control his anger especially when it comes to his misbehaved students. So, he decides to quit his job and becomes a cycle courier even though his wife keeps on urging him to retire. After an unavoidable accident, Josef, who still refuses to retire, works behind the counter in the local Žižkov supermarket as bottle collector. Due to his lustful nature, Josef starts to flirt with customers, and his behaviour soon lands himself in trouble with his wife, endangering his marriage in the process.
