Synopsis

Hearing about an impending storm in the wake of the deadly typhoon Yolanda, Miguel looks for his missing mother and friend to escape their devastated village on the next ship to Manila. Amidst the stony rubbish and strewn bodies in the wasteland they are fleeing, the trio begin to see their world grow increasingly absurd, magical and stupefying.
