Experience the merriment of Christmas time with Cathay Malls this holiday season! 

In a special partnership with Illumination's The Grinch, The Cathay and Cineleisure have unveiled fresh new looks fit for the festivities featuring the character from Dr. Seuss' beloved holiday classic. 

To usher in the most wonderful time of the year, The Cathay and Cineleisure will be adorned with cute Grinch-themed decor, adding a splash of playfulness throughout the malls and invoking a Christmas wonderland with a delightfully fun twist.

MERRY GRINCHMAS

From now until the end of the season, shoppers at The Cathay will also be greeted with "Merry Grinchmas" lettered on its facade, in place of the iconic "Welcome To The Cathay." A 24-feet Christmas tree will also be erected at the entrance, featuring a specially-designed The Grinch platform. To top it off, 27 charming mini Christmas trees are also displayed around The Cathay, each decorated with character figurines from the movie.

As part of the collaboration, Cathay Malls will also be having a Spend & Redeem promotion, where shoppers who spend a minimum of S$20 (maximum of two same-day receipts) in either mall will get to redeem exclusive The Grinch movie premiums.

A minimum of S$80 spend in The Cathay and S$50 spend in Cineleisure (maximum of two same-day receipts) will also entitle shoppers to redeem a four-inch POPEK premium (a balloon dog sculpture created in collaboration with The Cathay and London-based artist Whatshisname and local creative studio Mighty Jaxx) and a S$10 Grab promo code respectively.

FESTIVITIES GALORE

Cathay Malls shoppers can also indulge in many other festive activities this Christmas:

• The Cathay will be giving away S$50 Grab promo codes to shoppers who can guess the number of baubles on the giant Christmas tree.
• Join the Festive Spin & Win at The Cathay on 8 - 9 December, and at Cineleisure on 15 - 16 December (2pm-10pm). With a minimum spend of S$20 in the malls, participants get to spin the sure-win wheel to win great prizes.
• Celebrate Christmas at The Cathay from 20 - 22 December (7pm-10pm) and be wrapped up in holiday warmth with Christmas carolling, musical performances, hands-on craft activities and great photo opportunities. 
• Just like an advent calendar, Cathay Malls will be launching daily tenant promotions and giveaways on their Facebook page from 1 - 24 December, marking the lead-up to Christmas.
