Synopsis

The film portrays the failed assassination attempt of Georg Elser on Adolf Hitler during the year 1939 at the Bürgerbräukeller in Munich. On 8 November 1939, Elser sets up a time bomb near the stage where Hitler is delivering his speech. But the speech ends 13 minutes earlier than Elser expected, causing him to fail catastrophically.
