This Hindi romantic comedy produced by Karan Johar stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as lovers from different states of the country. When Krish (Kapoor) and Ananya (Bhatt) meet at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, they are quick to fall in love. But when they decide to get married, problems begin to creep up to them. Krish is from a Punjabi household in Delhi, while Ananya is from a Tamil Brahmin family in Chennai. When their respective parents meet each other, that's when the clash of cultures begins.
