One of the two films in 2015 that is based on the manga series "Arpeggio Of Blue Steel" by Ark Performance. This first film will be a compilation of 2013's television anime series with new story sequences. The manga tells the story of the world being taken over by a fleet of fog ships, after global warming caused rising sea levels in the early 21st century. 17 years after the humans' defeat to the ships, Gunzo Chihaya and his crewmates somehow commandeer a "Fleet of Fog" submarine named I-401 and get ready to face the ships again.
