You may be forgiven for thinking this is a mockumentary in the vein of “Spinal Tap,” but the three-women band in this docu – The Post Performance Blues Band – really exists IRL (the director is one of its members)! With time running out (they are each pushing 40), they give themselves one more year to make it – and the hilariously weird, idiosyncratic performances, the comedy of failures shot through with a palpable sense melancholia, tell an inspiring story of sisterhood.
