Synopsis

Inspired by the heroic deeds of legendary Italian cyclist Gino Bartali, this animated film follows two boys - David, a Jewish teenager, and Ibrahim, his Arab friend - who bond over their shared love of cycling in the Middle East. Set 60 years after Bartali`s efforts to save Jews during WWII by smuggling documents in his bicycle, the story centres on the boys` daring attempt to win a cycling championship together, breaking societal rules but promoting peace and unity between their rival communities.
