Blue Jasmine is a work of art. It was shocking to see the lead spiraling out of control and the endless self denial, as portrayed by Cate Blanchett. The ending of the film was haunting as well. Lovely film, great acting. A film that will have you thinking about for days after leaving the cinema.
I'd rate it 8/10 with Cate Blanchette as the leading actress. Storyline is strong enough with thrill and suspense to keep you at the edge of the seat. Action is sufficient and kept in a balance. Worthwhile to watch again.
A very inspiring movie of a rich housewife transforming to a commoner. In life there is ups and downs and we should watch this movie to remind and encourage ourselves.
