Synopsis

The documentary gives audiences a behind-the-scenes look of the world-famous Moscow dance theatre, which is also the place where artistic director Sergei Filin became the victim of an acid attack in 2013 that left him with third degree burns and blinded in one eye. Bolshoi Theatre`s sinister environment is uncovered, as board members, teachers, soloists to members of the corps de ballet reveal what it means and what it takes to become a top dancer at the prestigious dance theatre.
