Synopsis

A documentary made in accompaniment of British Museum`s exclusive "Hokusai: beyond the Great Wave" exhibition. This UK biography on the great Japanese artist focuses on his work and life. Arts presenter Andrew Graham-Dixon and artists Grayson Perry, David Hockney, and Maggi Hambling are among those featured in the documentary as it examines the paintings and prints made by Hokusai.
