Synopsis

Set during the early stages of WWII, Rick Blaine is a cynical expat who runs a nightclub in Casablanca, Morocco. Despite the pressure he receives from the local authorities, Rick`s cafe has become a haven for refugees seeking to obtain illicit letters that will help them escape to America. One day, Rick`s old flame Ilsa shows up at his cafe with her husband, Victor Laszlo. Victor is a famed rebel, and with the Nazis on his tail, Ilsa knows Rick can help them get out of the country. Rick is forced to compromise either his principles or his heart to help the pair.
