Synopsis

Max is a wedding planner and a seasoned caterer. He is staging a wedding for Pierre and Helena which takes place in a 17th-century chateau. Max agrees to the bridegroom`s demands but is troubled by his unprofessional staff members who constantly give him a headache. Despite his professional problems interwoven with his personal ones, he must find a way to make sure the wedding will not turn out to be a disaster.

Very French.

Hilarious dialogues, chock full of engaging characters. In days and age where everything is so serious, don't feel guilty to enjoy this joyful parenthesis. C'est La Vie!

Light-hearted and accessible comedy.

The film has some French humor. A sprightly comedy that takes audiences behind the scenes of an extravagant wedding party. This is a film that says a lot about teamwork, and how teams organise themselves and adapt to a developing situation in real time. Bacri here does an excellent job playing Max who is at the end of the rope with his job and thinking about retirement.
