Synopsis

This is the third instalment of the "Chihayafuru" film series. It follows Chihaya Ayase, who is now a third year high school student. Two years have passed since Chihaya, who is a member of the Mizusawa High School Karuta Club, and her friends fought the Queen, Shinobu Wakamiya. Chihaya now prepares to enter the national tournament at the end of her high school life. Meanwhile, the new Fujioka East High School Karuta Club is struggling to establish their Karuta department, in order to fight Chihaya at the national karuta competition.
