Synopsis

C/O Saira Banu is a Malayalam family thriller which is considered widely as the best performance of Malayalam superstar Manju Warrier after her comeback. Manju Warrier plays the title character, and also stars Amala Akkineni and Shane Nigam. The film marks the return of Amala Akkineni to Malayalam cinema after 25 years. The astonishment package of the movie is none other than superstar Mohanlal. Though he is not physically appearing in the movie but his presence is made through his voice for the character Peter George, a photographer. He is Shane Nigam’s (Joshua Peter) father in the movie. Mohanlal’s photo and his powerful voice certainly has a lasting impact on the movie. Saira Banu is a post-woman who leads a peaceful life with her only son Joshua Peter, a college student. The mother-son duo shares a unique bond. Annie John Tharavadi, (Amala) , is a leading advocate. How Saira and Annie's paths cross forms the crux of the story.
