One of my favoritest movie of the year! Disclaimer: This film masks itself in an indie fashion so don't expect a typical Hollywood comedy or sci-fi flick. You should not bring with u any expectations when watching Colossal, as it doesn't fall under a specific genre... It starts of as a somewhat comedy sci-fi, but as the plot progresses, it evolves into a phycho-thriller... A truly refreshing, yet humanistic approach on how your inner monster (or robot) could unleash and harm the people around (or not) you.... I enjoyed drawing all parallels and its larger than life plot!
