Synopsis
19-year-old Tony Manero doesn`t have much going for him during the weekdays. But during the weekend, he spends his time at the local disco as the king of the club. His time in the club help him cope with the harsh realities of his life: a dead-end job, clashes with his unsupportive and squabbling parents, racial tensions in the local community, and his general restlessness. When a big dance competition is announced, Tony ropes in the beautiful and talented Stephanie Mangano to be his partner and starts training with her for the club`s dance competition.
