Synopsis

The film follows a family`s journey in rural Taiwan, spanning 24 years: a sister`s search for identity, a mother`s fertility struggle, a brother`s coming-of-age, and a father`s fight against fate. Told through the perspectives of different family members, the film explores the complexities of family bonds and the ways, in which love and resilience shape their lives.
