Synopsis

This modern-day adaptation of William Shakespeare's "Hamlet" is set in mid 90's Kashmir. It is the third instalment of Bhardwaj's Shakespeare trilogy after 2003's "Maqbool" and 2006's "Omkara". It stars Shahid Kapoor as the titular Haider, whose mother (Tabu) marries her brother-in-law (Kay Kay Menon) after his father went missing. Shraddha Kapoor plays Arshia, Haider's love interest.
