Synopsis

The movie is comprised of three stories. The first one follows Yang Guang, who, after leaving his house for 20 years, has come home for the 7th day of his father`s death. While he initially refuses to stay for long, strange things start to happen around him, leaving him in doubt of his father`s death and he later decides to stay and seek the truth. The second story centres on taxi driver On Chai who is in heavy debt as a result of his gambling addiction. One night he picks up a beautiful pregnant woman by the road side. The following night, she is there again but this time something strange occurs when On Chai tries to catch a glimpse of the woman from his rear mirror. The third story revolves around joss paper goods master Lim Yang Guang, who is depressed following the death of his beloved wife Lim Qing Tian. Wanting to reunite with his dead wife, Yang Guang decides to end his life.
