Adapted from William Shakespeare`s play of the same name, the film chronicles the journey of young King Henry V of England, from a dissolute youth to a purposeful monarch as he proves his ability as a soldier and skillful leader to unite the dissident factions in the English army and goes on to conquer the French. Along the journey, King Henry V goes through the negotiations for Treaty of Troyes and courtship of Princess Katherine, to whom he will be formally betrothed as part of the peace agreement.
