A hardworking salesman, Xiao Ming, dreams of marrying the love of his life, Yan Yan, who is supposed to return from America soon. When he decides to propose to Yan Yan, she breaks up with him over the phone. In order to win back Yan Yan`s heart, Xiao Ming decides to fly to Los Angeles by joining a Hollywood Adventures tourist group, where he meets fellow traveller Da Wei, who sees life through the lens of the movies, as well as a reluctant travel guide named Wei Wei, who is a beautiful woman that possesses the qualities which Xiao Ming lacks. The trio then embarks on an epic cross-cultural adventure to Hollywood where anything is possible.
