The life of journalist Armin (Hans Löw) has gotten out of joint. He messed up an important job and forgot to record any interviews he was supposed to have. Things are not working out exactly as he has imagined, and he just wishes to start over again. Unexpectedly, this opportunity comes to him one day. When he wakes up, he notices that all the people have disappeared. Now he can freely decide how he wants to live. Written and directed by Ulrich Köhler (who won Best Director at the Berlin International Film Festival for 2011’s Sleeping Sickness), In My Room was screened in the Cannes Film Festival’s Un Certain Regard section in 2018.
