A creative mix of excitement and supernatural elements. Thumbs up for the good effort to include some humorous lines into the story. Some good scary scenes caught unexpectedly w the fantastic sound effects. Good twist to the ending~

Old-style gothic scares.
Spooky and spine-chilling. The concept of this movie will definitely keep you up at night. It can get you paranoid at times. Very thrilling! With a shocking twist ending.

Not for the average movie goer.
As a fan of the insidious series, ill give a 4/5. As an avergae movie goer, it would be a 2.5/5 In my opinion, it wasn't as good as the first installment BUT it was better than the previous film. There were some great elements that worked very well for me and some didn't. Good use of jump scares unlike the ones that will annoy you. Great story telling. Some undeveloped characters and the ones that mattered really gave a great performance. The movie is only enjoyable if you've been keeping up with the series. If not, it's nothing less than satisfying. The climax was great but the ending fell short. Overall this movie is intriguing to fans and could be a disappointment to an average movie goer.

All was good until they went to the other side
She went to the other side and it became less scary and more comedic in my opinion.

Horror plus humour
Humour injected into an extremely terrifying movie? This flim pulls it off good. Thanks to the hilarious sidekicks in the movie, it made it less stressful to watch. Warning: Too many sudden scares
