Synopsis

The film tells a story on the arrival of Islam in a village and its acceptance by the Sultan and the villagers. However, a group of young lads led by Wira rejected the new religion even as his mother and sister became newly devout converts. When his family left for Malacca to trade, Wira and his friends caused chaos in the village by seizing property, robbing and killing the villagers. When his family returns, Wira`s mother, Mak Uteh feels guilty and replaced the stolen possessions of the villagers by giving up all the items in her house. But even Mak Uteh was not spared of Wira`s cruelty and he abuses her. With her dying breath, she asks him to repent and be remorseful for his actions.
