Synopsis

Based on a novel written by Shri Jaywant Dalvi, the movie is set in the `80s and follows Mr. Katdare and his wife Shaileja who live with their mentally unstable son, Bacchu. Katdare works at a telegraph office while Shaileja works for a private firm. Their son is now 16 years old and his growing age and sexuality are a cause of concern for the couple, especially Shaileja. They work hard to manage his problems, even as Katdare tries to find the solution in death and Shaileja finds herself drifting towards her benign boss, Mr. Pandit.
