Synopsis

The Bull of Maayi, who hails from Keeripatti is participating in Jallikattu (Bull Fight). Karuppan who has tamed many bulls and won many medals is participating in the Jallikattu as well. Due to circumstances Karuppan’s friends and Maayi indulge in betting, the bet is to marry off Maayi’s sister Anbuselvi to Karuppan if he wins. After Karuppan wins the bet, Maayi tells about this bet to his sister Anbuselvi. Anbuselvi who initially rejects this vehemently later on eventually agrees to it because her brother’s pride is at stake. Karuppan and Anbuselvi get married. Kadhir, who has been in love with Anbuselvi from a young age, tries to break off this marriage by plotting many things, which results in Maayi and Karuppan fighting and getting separated. At one point, Maayi understands Kadhir bad intentions and so does Maayi’s wife Muthu. Muthu stabs and kills Kadhir but Maayi takes the murder accusation and it ends with Anbuselvi and Karuppan uniting.
