Synopsis

The documentary centres on the LGBTQ youth-of-colour in New York City, who participates in the city`s thriving underground ballroom scene. They gather on the Christopher Street Pier where they stage elaborate dance competitions to showcase their dynamic choreography, fabulous costumes, and fierce attitude. Within the Kiki community, struggling, at-risk teens find acceptance, support, and friendship.
