Synopsis

"King of Mahjong" is the first Singapore mahjong-themed movie that is set in modern times. It tells the story of Ah Fatt and Ah Shun. The former is a single father to a teenage daughter and sells Yong Taufu for a living, while the latter is a World Series Championship winner for the past ten years. Ah Shun invites Ah Fatt to participate in a World Mahjong Series held in Singapore. But Ah Fatt is less than happy to join due to the duo's past conflict with each other.
