Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang run Time Photo Studio, which aims to relieve its customers of past regrets. Through a photo provided by the client, Cheng Xiaoshi can travel back in time to the moment it was taken and assume the identity of its photographer, absorbing the photographer`s memories and emotions in the process. At the same time, Lu Guang keeps track of the events unravelling and helps Cheng Xiaoshi relive the photographer`s true experiences on that day years ago. No matter what happens, they never stay in the past for more than twelve hours, and they never try to alter history by messing with past events.
