Synopsis

Discussing mental illness is a major taboo in Japan. The complex world of a Japanese outpatient mental health clinic - interwoven with patients, doctors, staff, volunteers and home-helpers - is observed and it captures the candid lives of people coping with suicidal tendencies, poverty, a sense of shame, apprehension, and fear of society.
