Delightful
Mirai boasts great visuals that stuns viewers with its beauty. The film captures this childlike wonder well through the character of Kun. Since the story is told the through the lens of Kun, it shows the world as a young child might see it. The wonder and magic that the world seemed to possess can be seen through the lens of Kun. It brings us back to when we are children and how we acted. Audiences can find themselves connecting with the film through all of its different characters. Whether it be parents or children watching, there is a point of entry and connection through at least one of the characters. This is a strong film and I recommend y’all to watch this!

Gentle, attractive music score.
Mamoru Hosoda's film captures both the elasticity and rigidness of childhood. There’s plenty of adventure and light-hearted humour to keep kids entertained.
