Celebrated Japanese artist Morikazu Kumagai never ventures out of his house during the last 30 years of his life. To be exact, he doesn`t go any further beyond his backyard, where he spends his time in his personal zen habitat, a big garden bustling with ants, birds and cats. However, his joyful self-imposed exile is interrupted by nosy neighbours and land developments.
