Juan Nuñez and Benjamín Wilson are a pair of young slackers who can`t seem to finish veterinary school and still live with their respective parents. One Christmas Eve, they decide to execute the most infamous cultural artefacts heist in Mexican history. These clumsy criminals only belatedly realise the magnitude of their theft. Facing difficulty to sell the loot that is so valuable and recognisable that no one dares buy them, they head south to connect with a tour guide at the Mayan ruins who then arranges a meeting for them with a British collector.
